Alana Speth
Assistant Director of Operations
Alana Speth joined the University of Virginia in 2023 after a career teaching and administrating at the high school level. While UVA Advance is far from the only part of her job, it is her favorite part of her work at UVA. Alana holds degrees from The College of William & Mary and Smith College, both in the field of history. An avid reader, she also enjoys gardening, counting down to the next beach vacation, and trashy reality TV. Alana and her fiancé reside in Nelson County with their tuxedo cat, Ellie.
